Maria Lundstrom is based in Sweden, and she was born in the far north of the country close to nature. She studied Art at the Konsfack Univesity Collage in Stockholm. She works intuitively directly on the canvas, and aims to find ‘moments of surprise and joy’. Her colourful and organic forms are often inspired by nature, and she takes a playful and spontaneous approach to her colour juxtapositions, and the compositions she creates.
