JUNCTIONS: Group show at The Stables: Katie Tomlinson, Ross Taylor, Jiatong Yuan, Tom Jean Webb, Eric Haacht, Catherine Ko Chen, Mark Wright

Repurposing an old stables, this group show aims to vitalise this events space. Bringing together additional works from artists exhibiting next door in MYO King’s Cross as well as a single huge piece from British painter Mark Wright, this collection of pieces aims to revere the vintage architecture of this listed building with a touch of the contemporary. Exposed brick and metal beams are complemented by energetic forms and vivid colour palates that breathe through the airy openness of the space. Catching the abundant natural lighting here, the figures and subjects in these pieces by Katie Tomlinson, Tom Jean Webb, Ross Taylor, Jiatong Yuan, Eric Haacht, and Catherine Ko Chen come to life; with attributes like colour and shape reflecting across the modern interior design.
