Tiffany Parish

At heart Tiffany is a pictorial painter. She paints by adding and subtracting; searching for forms by following the paint's movement and tone. She's got a soft touch or grand storytelling scenes, but equally drawn to embodying abstraction into the work, which takes her far from her comfort zone into a visual language she's often wrestled with - challenging but exhilirating. 

Through dogged experimentation with composition, surface, rhythm, and colour, new ways of seeing and constructing a painting emerge, and more excting, unexpected ways to make marks. Risk-taking provides fresh tools to work with, loosening her approach while deepening her love of moving paint around on a surface.
